Reader (доцент) at the Department of Professional Foreign Languages Training
As a full-time Reader, I am responsible for giving lectures and holding seminars. This includes such subjects as Theory and Practice of Translation, Professional Culture, and Business English. Previously, I taught Economic Sociology, Sociology of Labour, Sociology of Organisations, Management in Intellectual Property, Management of Personnel, Marketing in Tourism, Geo-economics of Tourism, Philosophy and Research Methodology. In addition, I am doing academic research in the area of European integration, politics and religion. Its significance was recognised by a number of research grants, obtained in the last three years, including the ones from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), School of Young Managers in Public Administration (SYMPA) and the Open Society Foundation. My research projects were carried out in Great Britain, Germany, Romania and Estonia, with the publication of results in the international peer-reviewed journals. I am an author of two books in the Russian language: (1) ‘Religiya i evropeiskaya integratsiya: vzaimodeistviye tserkvei s uchrezhdeniyami Evropeiskogo Souza’ [Religion and European integration: the interaction of Churches with the institutions of the European Union], 182 pages. Baranovichi, 2015 and (2) ‘Pravoslavie v Evrope: svidetelstva nashikh dnei’ [Orthodox Christianity in Europe: testimonies of our days], 376 pages. Minsk, 2013. My book in English-- ‘Christian Churches in European Integration’ (192 pages) was published by the UK-US academic publisher ‘Routledge’ in 2016 (see https://www.routledge.com/products/9781472474810 ). In addition, I have contributed to the international English-language peer-reviewed journals, such as ‘Journal for Contemporary European Research’, ‘Journal of Religion in Europe’ and ‘Journal of Church and State’.

•I completed and defended Doctoral thesis in Social Sciences at Salford University (full-time research; I was resident in Manchester, UK for more than three years).
